To celebrate the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and carry forward the great spirit of the Party's founding, on June 29, 2024, the Heilongjiang Provincial Lawyers' Association Party Committee held a commendation meeting for "Two Excellent and One First-rate" in Harbin, solemnly commending outstanding Communist Party members, outstanding Party workers, and advanced grassroots Party organizations. Liu Xudong, member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Justice, attended the meeting and delivered a speech, emphasizing the need to lead the high-quality development of the legal profession with the Party's flag, and through commending advanced Party organizations, outstanding Communist Party members, and outstanding Party workers in the legal profession, cultivate Party building brands, create a good atmosphere for the entire industry to "compete, learn, catch up, and surpass", strive to be advanced, and promote a positive atmosphere, guiding the vast number of lawyers to resolutely uphold the "two establishes", resolutely achieve the "two safeguards", and consciously be firm believers, model practitioners, and active disseminators of Xi Jinping's Thought on the Rule of Law.

The meeting pointed out that the Provincial Lawyers' Association Party Committee has always adhered to Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as its guide, thoroughly implemented the important instructions and directives of General Secretary Xi Jinping on Party building in the legal profession and lawyers' work, actively responded to and implemented the "five hopes" of the Party group of the Ministry of Justice, and earnestly carried out the thematic education on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, patriotic education, and Party discipline education, always adhering to the Party's overall leadership over the work of lawyers, always adhering to the people-centered development concept, always adhering to the principle of centering on the central task and serving the overall situation, and making positive contributions to promoting the high-quality development of Heilongjiang's economy and society.

At the meeting, 29 advanced grassroots Party organizations, 50 outstanding Communist Party members, and 20 outstanding Party workers were commended. Five commended representatives gave speeches on experience exchange.

More than 120 people attended the meeting, including members of the Provincial Lawyers' Association Party Committee, representatives of Party committees (Party general branches) of the legal profession in various cities (prefectures) across the province, and lawyers, members of the Party building and united front work committee of the Provincial Lawyers' Association, and staff of the Provincial Lawyers' Association.
