Article 79 If a candidate engages in any of the following acts during a national education examination, the staff of the education examination institution organizing the examination shall take necessary measures to stop the candidate from continuing to participate in the examination at the examination site; the education examination institution organizing the examination may cancel the candidate's relevant examination qualifications or examination results; in serious cases, the education administrative department shall order the candidate to stop participating in relevant national education examinations for one to three years; if the act constitutes a violation of public security management, the public security organ shall impose public security management penalties according to law; if the act constitutes a crime, criminal responsibility shall be investigated according to law:
(1) Illegally obtaining examination questions or answers;
(2) Carrying or using examination cheating equipment or materials;
(3) Copying other people's answers;
(4) Letting others take the examination on their behalf;
(5) Other cheating behaviors that obtain examination results through improper means.
Article 80 If any organization or individual engages in any of the following acts during a national education examination, and there are illegal gains, the public security organ shall confiscate the illegal gains and impose a fine of one to five times the illegal gains; in serious cases, detention for five to fifteen days shall be imposed; if a crime is constituted, criminal responsibility shall be investigated according to law; if the person is a state organ staff member, disciplinary action shall also be given according to law:
(1) Organizing cheating;
(2) Providing assistance or convenience for cheating by providing examination cheating equipment;
(3) Taking the examination on behalf of others;
(4) Leaking or spreading examination questions or answers before the end of the examination;
(5) Other acts that disrupt examination order.

Article 284-1 clearly states
The crime of organizing examination cheating
In national examinations stipulated by law, those who organize cheating shall be sentenced to imprisonment for not more than three years or criminal detention, and shall also or solely be fined; in serious cases, they shall be sentenced to imprisonment for three to seven years and fined. Those who provide cheating equipment or other assistance for others to commit the crime in the preceding paragraph shall be punished according to the provisions of the preceding paragraph.
The crime of illegally selling or providing examination questions and answers
For the purpose of committing examination cheating, those who illegally sell or provide examination questions and answers of the examination stipulated in the preceding paragraph to others shall be punished according to the provisions of the preceding paragraph.
The crime of taking an examination for another person
Those who take an examination for another person or let another person take an examination for them in the examination stipulated in the preceding paragraph shall be sentenced to criminal detention or surveillance, and shall also or solely be fined.
