Earth Party Building | Conveyance and Study of the Spirit of the National Lawyers' Industry Party Organization Secretary Training Class

From December 13th to 16th, the Central Organization Department, the Central Party School (National Academy of Governance), and the Ministry of Justice jointly held a training class for party secretaries of the national legal profession, providing training to party secretaries of the national legal profession via video livestream.

The training class used studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the CPC as its theme. Closely combining with the characteristics of the legal profession, it emphasized political nature, pertinence, and effectiveness. It included "ideology classes," "party building classes," "policy classes," and "case classes." Relevant responsible comrades and experts from the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and National Supervisory Commission, the Central Organization Department, the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission, the Central Party School (National Academy of Governance), and the Ministry of Justice gave lectures. Twelve outstanding legal profession party committee heads and law firm party secretaries from east, central, and west China shared case studies on deepening the party's building in the legal profession in the new era. It educated and guided a large number of lawyers to persistently use Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era to unify their thinking and build their souls, to thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping's ideas on the rule of law and General Secretary Xi Jinping's important thoughts on party building, to deeply understand the decisive significance of the "two establishes," to enhance the "four consciousnesses," strengthen the "four confidences," and achieve the "two safeguards." They should consciously abide by and uphold the leadership of the Communist Party of China and uphold China's socialist rule of law, among other basic requirements for the profession. They should always maintain a clear head and a clear banner in upholding the Party's leadership, strive to be pioneers in bravely shouldering the responsibilities of the times, remain unswervingly committed to the purpose of serving the people in their practice, take on responsibilities in serving Chinese-style modernization, maintain their original nature in upholding professional ethics, and strive to be good lawyers who satisfy the Party and the people. Trainees generally reflected that this "same class" for national legal profession party secretaries was a positive exploration of innovative political guidance mechanisms for the legal profession. It is of great significance for deepening the thematic education of the legal profession, consolidating the ideological foundation of the legal profession, improving the ability of party secretaries in the legal profession to perform their duties, using high-quality party building in the legal profession to guide the high-quality development of legal work, uniting and leading the broad masses of lawyers to consciously participate in the practice of comprehensively governing the country according to law, and providing strong legal guarantees for promoting Chinese-style modernization. Relevant leaders from the Central Organization Department, the Central Party School (National Academy of Governance), and the Ministry of Justice attended the opening ceremony, and the main responsible comrade of the Ministry of Justice gave a mobilization speech at the opening ceremony. The training class set up its main classroom at the Central Party School (National Academy of Governance) and branch classrooms in provincial and some municipal party schools (academies of governance). It was conducted nationwide using a combination of centralized video lectures and discussions and exchanges.

Relevant responsible comrades from the provincial and municipal party committees' organization departments, party schools (academies of governance), and justice departments (bureaus) participated in the opening and closing ceremonies at the branch classrooms.
