It is under the management of Heilongjiang Provincial New Industry Investment Group Co., Ltd. and is a state-owned holding mixed-ownership joint-stock company. Its main business is biomass energy development, biomass heat and power cogeneration, and comprehensive utilization of biomass. The New Energy Company owns Mudanjiang Cheneng Biomass Power Generation Co., Ltd., Mishan Cheneng Biomass Power Generation Co., Ltd., Lanxi Cheneng Biomass Power Generation Co., Ltd., Jixian Cheneng Biomass Power Generation Co., Ltd., Heilongjiang Nobo New Energy Development Co., Ltd., Fangzheng County Cheneng Biomass Power Generation Co., Ltd., Qitaihe Cheneng Biomass Power Generation Co., Ltd., and Harbin Cheneng Biomass Power Generation Co., Ltd., among other subsidiaries. It also manages Dalian Heilongjiang Wuchang Biomass Power Generation Co., Ltd. on behalf of the Xinchantou Group. Each company has a 1x130t/h high-temperature and high-pressure biomass circulating fluidized bed boiler. The total installed capacity of the New Energy Company is 270,000 kilowatts, accounting for about 12% of the total installed capacity of biomass power generation in the province. It is currently the largest and most widely distributed biomass power generation company in Heilongjiang Province that has been put into operation. Its annual power generation is 1.8 billion kilowatt-hours, consuming 2.4 million tons of fuel, of which about 70% is straw. It can solve the air pollution caused by straw burning to a certain extent, improve air quality, and contribute to the realization of carbon peak and carbon neutrality.
