News | The Supreme People's Court held a work deployment meeting to officially launch the Fada Network

On July 1, 2023, the "FaDa" network officially launched in courts nationwide. The "FaDa" network is an intranet information sharing platform established by the Supreme People's Court to facilitate the in-depth study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era among court personnel nationwide, providing legal policy application, trial business consultation and Q&A, and learning and exchange services.

July 3rd marked the first working day of the "FaDa" network's official operation. A deployment meeting for the launch of the "FaDa" network in courts nationwide was held via video conference that morning. Yang Wanming, member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice President of the Supreme People's Court, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

The meeting pointed out that the construction of the "FaDa" network is a major deployment of the Party Leadership Group of the Supreme People's Court. Building the "FaDa" network is a necessary requirement for improving judicial capabilities, an effective way to promote the uniform and correct application of the law, and an important measure for conducting in-depth investigations and research. People's courts at all levels should raise their political standing, earnestly carry out the construction and operation of the "FaDa" network, continuously strengthen the political construction and judicial capabilities of the people's courts, and effectively improve fairness and efficiency.

The meeting emphasized the need to strengthen mobilization and publicity, guide court personnel at all levels nationwide to familiarize themselves with and utilize the "FaDa" network, and promote the creation of a positive atmosphere where "if there's a problem, consult "FaDa" ". Inter-departmental coordination should be strengthened to create synergy and ensure the smooth and orderly operation of the "FaDa" network. The potential of data should be tapped, and through analysis of consultation and Q&A data, regular problems should be identified, solutions sought, and the "FaDa" network should be developed into a "barometer" and "weather vane" for legal application.

The meeting required that a focus on quality be maintained to ensure that consultations and Q&A are high-quality and authoritative. Research and analysis should be strengthened, and for commonly reported difficult issues, summaries should be promptly compiled, targeted guidance should be provided to lower levels, and timely dissemination through the publication of high-quality Q&A, typical cases, judicial interpretations, or normative documents should be used to promote the uniform and correct application of the law. A dynamic review of Q&A opinions should be conducted to ensure that the Q&A remains authoritative and guiding. Excellent consultations and Q&A should be selected regularly, encouraging personnel to "ask good questions" and experts to "provide good answers", striving to make the "FaDa" network an authoritative platform for professional exchanges.

Some courts shared their experiences with the "FaDa" network pilot program at the meeting. Relevant officials from the Supreme People's Court participated in the meeting at the main venue, while relevant court leaders and officials from three-level courts at the local level participated in the meeting at the branch venues.
